Verification / Certification Engineers (various grades) - Aberdeen, UK
Our clients are multinational companies specializing in the inspection, design review, analysis, audit and certification of products, infrastructure and systems including those in the off-shore / subsea oil and gas industry.
The jobs:
We are urgently looking for Verification / Certification Engineers and Operational Verification Engineers up to and including Principal grades with offshore / subsea experience in the following specialisations:
• Design appraisal / review / analysis, verification and certification • Inspection / surveillance / assessment / examination / technical audits during procurement, fabrication and construction, installation, testing and commissioning (onshore and offshore) • For the senior roles: ability to plan projects and take ownership of technical bids and tenders
... for UK North Sea off-shore installations such as production and drilling platforms, subsea production systems, FPSOs, umbilicals, semi-submersibles and subsea equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in Engineering (HND/HNC in engineering with significant relevant design experience is acceptable) • At least 3 years experience in the off-shore Oil & Gas industry as design engineer / verification engineer / QA/QC engineer / surveyor / inspector / auditor including senior maintenance or inspection supervisor roles • Highly Desirable - knowledge and experience of design, construction, commissioning, operation or decommissioning of off-shore / subsea installations • Knowledge of relevant UK, EU and Norwegian legislation and regulations • Ideally willing to travel in UK, offshore and international.
